Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026
01

Acceptance of Terms

WireMapper is operated by Single Thread LLC. By creating an account or using WireMapper, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

02

What WireMapper Is

WireMapper is a browser-based diagramming tool for creating AV and broadcast signal-flow diagrams. It is a design and documentation tool only.

WireMapper does not:

  • Verify that any diagram is technically correct
  • Validate signal compatibility, impedance matching, or equipment specifications
  • Certify that any wiring configuration is safe or appropriate for your equipment
  • Provide professional AV engineering advice of any kind

Any diagram created with WireMapper represents your own design intent. It is your responsibility to verify all connections before implementation.

03

No Liability for Equipment Damage or Implementation

Single Thread LLC and WireMapper are not responsible for any damage to equipment, signal degradation, system failure, data loss, or any other harm (direct or indirect) resulting from following, implementing, or acting on a diagram created with this tool.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying that any wiring configuration is appropriate for your specific equipment
  • Checking signal levels, connector compatibility, and electrical requirements
  • Confirming that any diagram is reviewed by a qualified engineer before implementation in a professional or safety-critical environment

Diagrams created with WireMapper are not a substitute for professional engineering judgment. Always consult a qualified engineer for safety-critical installations.

WireMapper makes no warranty that device stencils in the default library accurately reflect current manufacturer specifications. Connector types, counts, and configurations may change without notice. Always verify against the manufacturer's current documentation before use.

These limitations apply whether you use WireMapper directly or share a diagram with a third party who acts on it.

This limitation extends to any harm whatsoever arising from the use of, reliance upon, or implementation of any diagram, stencil, or content created or displayed within WireMapper, whether or not such harm was foreseeable.

This limitation applies regardless of whether WireMapper was aware of the possibility of such damage.

04

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. WireMapper is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission.

05

Your Content

Diagrams and projects you create in WireMapper are yours. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using WireMapper, you grant us the right to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

06

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use WireMapper for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of WireMapper
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract data from the service
07

Service Availability and Changes

WireMapper is provided as-is. We make no guarantee of uptime, availability, or that the service will be free from errors.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue any feature at any time
  • Introduce a paid tier in the future (free access is not guaranteed indefinitely)
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

08

No Warranty

WireMapper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

09

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Single Thread LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or equipment damage, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
